Discover Your Body Type And Who Is Likely To Find You Attractive

What is your body type? What type of person are you attracted to, and what lies behind the attractions and repulsions that dominate our relationships with one another?

One theory is that each of us is born with a different body type and that the type is controlled by the glands of the endocrine system, one gland being more dominant in us than others.

One body type system describes seven body types named after planetary bodies: lunar, venusian, mercurial, saturnine, martial, jovial and solar.

Briefly, the characteristics of each type are said to be as follows:

* Lunar: a serious, passive, quiet and reserved type who is something of a loner. The body is often immature with thin, fine hair and the hands are small and childlike. Lunars can be timid and secretive yet are conscientious and gentle. Their maximum attraction is the saturnine type.

* Venusian: a warm, passive, positive type normally with a bulky body or a voluptuous body if a woman, with hair that is likely to be thick and luxuriant. The body shape is often pear-shaped. This is an earthy, agreeable type who is willing to please and is harmonizing and loyal - someone comfortable to be around. Their maximum attraction is the martial body type.

* Mercurial: the mercurial type is an active, negative type usually with a slim, dapper appearance and a great smile. Mercurial men often sport a mustache or beard. They are entertaining, witty and appealing though they can be devious and they tend to get depressed when out of the limelight. Their maximum attraction is the jovial.

* Saturnine: this body type is active, positive and serious. Their body structure is usually tall and long-boned. They tend to dress in a subdued manner and are inclined towards asceticism. They are the one's who always seem to act responsibly and take charge though they are inclined to be rather shy. Their maximum attraction is the lunar type.

* Martial: the fiery martial is an active, negative type usually of stocky build with coarse hair and a solid, square face. They are often freckled and red-haired. The martial is the most aggressive type being very direct, energetic and enterprising though often tactless and blunt to the point of rudeness. Their maximum attraction is the venusian.

* Jovial: the jolly jovial is usually short, round and stout inclining to scant hair and rather poor eyesight. They enjoy their food and drink and conviviality and usually have many interests. They are entertaining and amusing though they can be somewhat indiscriminate with their attention to others with a tendency to smother people. Their maximum attraction is the mercurial type.

* Solar: a positive, active type, usually of slender build with a delicate constitution and large eyes that are set wide apart. Men sometimes have high-pitched voices. They are usually rather playful and delightful though somewhat naive and immature. They are unusual in being attractive to all the other types.
